An independent guide to Val Thorens
Many privately-owned apartments are available to rent through the estate agents in Val Thorens. These apartments are generally in buildings with a mixture of owner-occupied apartments, season lets, and holiday flats. The rates may be cheaper than for apartments in professionally-run tourist résidences; on the other hand, as nearly every apartment is different, the quality may be more 'hit and miss'.
The agencies' websites allow you to see the location of the buildings in resort, and check out photos of the apartments.
